Time Really Does Fly

One year ago today we became a family of four. Instantly, we began losing what has added up to MONTHS of sleep. Only recently have we caught more than five hours of sleep at a time. Also, my arms are stronger from holding my squirming child. Like, I think I could do well in that category of rodeo contest where the contestants chase and rope pigs. My hair is stronger too. I never knew it can handle the weight of a 22+ pound baby gripping it with one hand. 


And my heart, though stopping and starting many times over the last year, is a hundred times bigger. I am so full of love for this kid. I have never regretted us being a family of four for one single minute.

I love you Asher Phoenix. You are everything we ever hoped for and more.
